Serving a number of communities in Calgary’s northwest, this 4-bay, 23,680 sq ft multi-services facility provides a complete number of essential services to the area. The building faces the main industrial community thoroughfare acting not only as a gateway along the ‘community route’, but also as a civic destination for community activities. The building design responds to the prairie style design guidelines established for the industrial park and showcases a rain garden as a demonstration of stormwater management techniques. The building, designed to LEED® Gold standard, is centered around shared services and shared facility as well as shared operational functions. The facility houses the following groups:

  • Fire Services & Fire Prevention Bureau;
  • Animal bylaw services;
  • Emergency Medical Services;
  • Police services; and
  • Community space available to the public.
