The success of a mixed-use urban development comes from a design that shows a thorough understanding of all building types — commercial, office, retail, hospitality and residential. The engagement of the public domain and facilitating the greater community to benefit from the development is a critical objective. Ultimately, the design must assimilate these varied uses into a viable form, thus creating a modern urban centre, a destination, and a sense of place.
S2 has amassed a vast portfolio of work consisting of a broad range of projects ranging from luxury high-rise condos to innovative, modern multi-residential and mid-rise buildings. Although applications vary from site to site, they typically involve commercial, retail and residential uses. Consideration of the site is also very important as this plays a key role in our approach to developing the ideal site strategy for urban blocks and large city sectors.
