We welcome Steven Mott, Michelle Rowles, and Chad Zyla as Associate Principals.
The S2 Partnership group is delighted to announce the promotions of Steven, Michelle, and Chad to Associate Principals.
“These three individuals have shown exemplary leadership skills since day one of being with S2. They all lead their respective teams with a passion for architecture and a dedication to mentoring employees, contributing to the positive culture of S2, and collaboratively growing the firm’s work in all three of our studios”, says Peter Streith, Managing Partner of S2’s Edmonton studio. The promotion of Steven, Michelle, and Chad expands the S2 Associate Principal group to six individuals, who are all key contributors to the firm’s strategic vision and long-term organizational growth.
Steven Mott: Has been with S2 since 2015 and was promoted to Associate in 2016. He leads our Production and Technical Services Department and has more than 25 years of experience in the field, including a diverse portfolio of work in highrise residential, mixed-use, commercial, institutional, and office sectors.
Michelle Rowles: Was at S2 from 2006 to 2012; then left to work for a residential developer, after which she returned to S2 in 2017. She became an Associate in 2018 and since then has led many of S2’s multi-family residential projects in an approachable and collaborative style.
Chad Zyla: Has been with S2 since 2017 and became an Associate in 2019. Chad bring 20 years of experience mainly focused on multi-family and mixed-use development projects and he has played a key role in growing S2’s expertise and reputation in modular construction projects, including social supportive housing.
