Civic Works is a tenant improvement project for a local urban planning and design firm in Calgary, Alberta.

This interior design solution is centred around an open floor plan enhanced by the integration of demountable partitions. These partitions serve a dual purpose of delineating private offices and meeting spaces while subtly defining otherwise open areas. A custom millwork ‘work wall’ was installed along the length of the space, providing storage and office functionalities such as copy/print and display areas.

S2 provided a comprehensive range of services for this project, ensuring a seamless turn-key outcome that included all design phases from initial planning to contract administration. The project also involved selecting and coordinating furniture, as well as staging and decorating the completed space. Employing a construction management delivery method, S2 maintained a close and collaborative working relationship with the contractor throughout the project’s duration, adhering to predetermined timelines and budget constraints.
