This three-storey townhome development project is situated in Calgary’s newest master planned community, West District and is comprised 34 luxury units in four contemporary buildings. Front door access features a minimal setback, thus connecting residents to the pathways, streets, and courtyard within the community.
Each unit has three bedrooms, nine foot ceilings, and double car garages off a private laneway. Patios were designed at all entrances in addition to a second level balcony. The courtyard provides an inviting and comfortable experience with extensive landscaping, seating areas and a meandering pathway. Although open to the public, the courtyard is nestled in the centre of the townhomes, providing a quiet outdoor space.
The building architecture is expressed through fibre reinforced cementitious panels, playing with white and black shades. A hint of wood grain panels has been placed in patios, soffits, and doors to create a warm natural element.
