Project Description

This new Fire Facility for the District of North Vancouver will act as a replacement hall for Firehall No. 2, will replace the existing North Shore Fire Training Centre and will relocate the Fire and Rescue Service headquarters to the Maplewood neighbourhood, including the departmental and fire back-up Emergency Operations Centre.

Besides the headquarters, indoor training building and four double-bay Fire Hall, the site will include a separate training building with apparatus bays and support as well as a 1.62 acre outdoor area for training props such as:
