Empowering Critical Operations
A confidential client commissioned S2 Architecture to develop an Integrated System Operations Centre (ISOC). This facility enhanced the client’s provincially governed service by improving and securing their ability to monitor, control, and respond to time-critical operations and emergency situations affecting the safe and reliable delivery of services across the provincial network.
The ISOC includes dedicated information and operational technology resources within a modern, secure utility control centre, designed to support resilient and reliable service distribution.
The project was delivered as a standalone, two-storey facility of approximately 3,800 square metres, serving as a post-disaster emergency operations command centre critical to managing provincial utility needs.
Additionally, the ISOC:
- Facilitated the expansion of grid modernization functions
- Provided dedicated training capabilities
- Accommodated both current operations and future growth, including additional operational and support staff
