A confidential client has commissioned S2 Architecture to develop an Integrated System Operations Centre (ISOC). This facility will help the client enhance the goals of their provincially governed service by improving and securing their ability to monitor, control, and respond to time-critical operations and emergency situations that affect the safe and reliable delivery of their services to the provincial network.
The Integrated System Operations Center (ISOC) will include dedicated information and operational technology resources within a modern and secure utility control center. Its design aims to support the safe and reliable distribution of the client’s services in a resilient facility.
The ISOC will be a standalone control center, consisting of a two-storey building with an area of approximately 3,800 square meters. It will serve as a post-disaster emergency operations command center, which is essential for managing the client’s responsibilities regarding the utility needs of the province.
Additionally, the ISOC will:
- Facilitate the expansion of grid modernization functions
- Provide training capabilities
- Accommodate current operations and future growth, including the addition of operational and support staff for the ISOC
