Mountain Living Reimagined
Set against the dramatic landscape of Canmore, Three Sisters Mountain Village is envisioned as a modern mountain community shaped by the place and the people who call it home. Drawing inspiration from Canmore’s history, alpine character and close connection to the outdoors, the design takes a fresh approach to mountain living while remaining rooted in its setting. That sense of place has guided the project from the architecture through to the smallest interior details.
Inside, natural materials, warm textures and mountain views create a contemporary take on alpine living that feels comfortable rather than themed. The building’s shared spaces are designed around how residents will actually use them: a two-storey lobby lounge with café and social areas for quiet mornings or spontaneous run-ins with neighbours, a social room and co-working lounge for everyday work and entertaining, and a two-storey fitness area with a bouldering wall and sweeping views. A dedicated wellness space rounds out the amenities with a sauna, cold plunge and outdoor hot tub, creating a place to recover and recharge after a day outside.
The same thinking carries into practical details, with bike storage, wash and repair facilities and a dedicated dog wash designed for residents coming home from the trails. More than a collection of amenities, these spaces reflect the rhythms of life in Canmore, where time outdoors is part of the day-to-day.
The community brings together a mix of condominium and townhome living across nearly 312,000 square feet. The condominium component spans 242,489 square feet across five storeys, with 248 homes, while the three-storey townhome component adds 69,282 square feet and 48 homes. Together, the 296 residences create a varied residential community designed to support different ways of living in the mountains.
Currently in design development, Three Sisters Mountain Village is being brought to life through close collaboration between Hokanson Capital Inc., Eagle Builders and S2 Architecture. Together, the team is shaping a community that feels connected to its surroundings and designed for life in the mountains.
